My Sketcher Shape-Ups

If you haven't heard about these or tried these-you need to! These are what kept my feet from being so tired on Friday. We've sold a lot of these these since we've got them in last summer(that's when I bought mine and just now decided to try them out!). They are rounded on the bottom(people think you'll fall over wearing them) and are supposed to improve posture, strengthen calf and thigh muscles, tone and get rid of cellulite. I know a lot of nurses and factory workers have bought them along with people who just do a lot of walking. It feels like you're walking on a cloud-and I needed that on Friday(no high heels that day!) Check them out for yourself!

Black Friday Attire

This pic is from yesterday afternoon(I'd been up since 3am and worked a 14 hour day so I look a little tired!). All the associates got to wear jeans and tennis shoes and holiday shirts. My friend Rachel surprised me and wore a santa hat(she usually doesn't do that kind of thing-but she looks pretty cute!). I had on my new sneakers(I'll show you a pic tomorrow-they really saved my feet and legs!) and a pink/white striped shirt that had Lucy saying in silver glitter-I'll kiss you after you give me the present! I decided to top my holiday outfit off with a ribbon belt and silver glitter in my hair and a pink and silver present bow in my hair-I love dressing up silly for the holidays-makes everyone smile!

I already have two of these-but I had to have the one with the pink dress of course! Picked her up at the Antique Mall where I have a booth!

A Thankful Heart

My husband says to me last nite-you know, we have a lot to be thankful for-we have a nice warm house, plenty of food, jobs, and money in the bank to pay our bills. I tell him back-I thank God each nite before I go to bed for all these things and more(I really do try to thank him daily!). But the truth of it is that I can say all those things, but I really don't know how lucky I am-I try to-but I've never gone hungry(not even for a day), always worked hard to stay ahead to pay bills, never lost a loved one in a war, always had a place to call home, still have both my parents, both my husband and I are in good health and our families along with both of us have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I can't imagine living in some other country where some, if not all of these things I would not have. I wonder a lot why God put me here-in this place and this time but I know he has a master plan and I trust him completely!

I do feel blessed in so many ways-I feel honored to have met each and every one of you thru blogging and I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!

Baby Bathtub with a Pink Quilt

I bought this baby bathtub several years ago and kept it in the bathroom on top of an old washstand with this pink quilt in it for Kitty to sleep in. It's now in the kitchen on the floor because she can't jump up the way she used to-she curls up in it all the time!

Kitty with the Pink Boots

I'm not sure if my white kitty is wanting to try on my pink boots or just lay on them. Since she's a white angora cat-I've always told her that it looks like she has go-go boots on because her hair on her legs gets fluffier higher up! She's around 18 years old now!

PInk Ruler

Have you ever seen a pink ruler? I hadn't until I spied this one at our local mall flea market. Only $1.00 but the guy just gave it to me because I'm a good customer! I think every time I need one-I'll grab this one!

Pink Tent Frame

Now I know I'm crazy-crazy about anything pink. I bought this pink tent frame yesterday for $1.00. Even though it doesn't have the material, I thought it would be fun to just cover it with some sheets or my sewing friend could make me a cover for it(she's really talented and made my awning, antique wicker chair covers and will make my next camper cushions!). I was going to show you a pic of the frame put together-but after 1/2 hour of trying-I decided to give up and make it a project for camping next spring-so you'll have to wait until then to see what I do with it!

Pink Dog Booties

I saw these adorable dog booties yesterday and just had to buy them for my Miss Maggie Mae, but she didn't seem to like them-she kept saying-"Why Mom?" So I will probably have to take them back. Does anyone's dog out there wear these?

Pink Obsession

How do you know if you're obsessive-you buy pink paint at a garage sale! All four partially used cans were only $.50 for all and the new cans were $3.00 each. What am I going to do with more pink paint? I already have some-but you all know -I'll come up with something!

Pink Lights

Have you ever seen these lights in pink? I haven't until last week. I have seen them in multi-color, white or blue-but never just pink. Not sure what I'll be using them for -but you can bet-I'll figure something out. I like the shape and size of them!

Pinkalicious Pads

My boss's husband works at a paper factory and she surprised me one day and brought me a stack of these paper tablets that he brought home. They go with the game or book Pinkalicous she told me-they're going in the camper!!!

Pink Pajama Doll

A few weeks ago I was at a thrift store and my eyes saw this little charmer! She had a twin, but I didn't take her(was I wrong to seperate them? And now she's gone-but I'm trying to control myself!). I don't know what time period she comes from, but I think she's a pajama doll-the kind you put on your bed. She's in perfect condition and I think she makes a great winter decoration since she's all decked out in her fur!

Pink Tipped Fruit

Bought these pears and apples at the Salvation Army the other day for only $.69. I love how they just have a hint of pink! What goodies are you finding for the holidays?

My Pink Case International

Well the second surprise I got yesterday was this little pink Steiger from a co-worker named Janice -I was so excited. My husband uses International equipment for farming so I called him and told him I'd like to paint all of his tractors pink-of course-he didn't think it was too funny! But I love my little surprise-look at those pink rims!

A Little Sparkly Surprise Tree

I've been feeling a little down lately-we all go thru it-I won't go into the details-it's nothing serious. I just haven't been able to shake it. I wake up during the nite several times(I usually sleep very soundly!) and can't get the bad thoughts out of my mind. I pray and I sing worship songs to God(in my head of course-wouldn't want my husband to think I'm crazy!). Last nite it seemed worse, so I was not looking forward to work, being tired and all. A co-worker of mine(our visual manager) had told me yesterday that she had something for me. I came into my office and this little sparkly surprise was sitting there! It totally changed my day-just brightened it up. Then within the hour-another co-worker had another gift for me-she couldn't wait until Christmas-it's pink and I'll post it tomorrow!

Thrift Christmas Decorations

I usually don't have any hope for anything good for Christmas decorations at thrift stores-it's mostly junk. I was thrilled though to get this pink garland along with a couple of cute boxes and an ornament. A few things I could use if I ever want to do another pink Christmas!
