Pink Mixer

My Grandfather had a mixer like this(except it wasn't pink) when I was a child. He would make chocolate milkshakes for us. When I saw this one in pink-I had to have it-except-my favorite is strawberry so I'll be making those!

Vintage Dress/slips

I bought this vintage dress at the antique store for $8.00. It fit me perfectly and had the prettiest roses. I decided to put my hair up in back so it looked like a bob. I got a lot of compliments, especially at the nursing home because I think it is an older style.

I also got this beautiful slip for $8.00. The satin is sooooo pretty! I'd like to figure out how I can wear it for a dress.

It still has the original tags!

3 Cute Little Rabbit Children

I told my sister's kids that they had to wear rabbit ears while they were searching for their eggs hidden around my mom's house.

The twins are 9 next month and her little one is 2 1/2. They all had fun searching for the eggs especially after they found out there was money inside!

Pink retro Heater

Well, I'm trying to decide if I want to purchase this 1950's heater. It's about $60.00 and that's more than I usually want to spend. I'd want it for the camper and not sure how safe it would be. Never seen one like it though-so it's tempting!~

Do these plates look like tin? They don't, do they! I picked two up at the thrift store for $2.00 each. After I pulled the $2.00 tag off-there was a $.10 tag underneath-bummer-but I still love them.

Pink Gifts from a Friend

I went antiquing with a friend, Amanda, I met on Christmas Day(my mom invited her for dinner) and we hit it off. We went antiquing a couple of months ago and with both our schedules, haven't had time until now to go again. It was a beautiful sunny day-perfect for a girl's afternoon out! I had a great time-she's fun to be with and easy to talk to! I felt horrible though because I had forgot I told her that I would pick her up at County Market at 11:00am and was waiting at the antique store instead. After almost 30 minutes she called me -and she was so forgiving about the whole mix-up! Thanks Amanda! She surprised me with this House Beautiful Magazine filled with pink items and inspiration and this sweet little ceramic birdie!
She gave me this litte pink coat for Maggie Mae and it fits her perfectly. I can't wait to get Maggie together with her little Boston Terrier-Baby Girl to play! I'm looking forward to getting together with her again-maybe camping-where we can let the girls play!

Vintage Pink Jewelry Box

This is going to be one of my new collections. I picked this one up for $.25 at a garage sale in the mall last week. They're easy to stack, vintage, and great for storage of small things!
Too bad they put the sticker on the top-it pulled off some of the pink.

My Friday Finds

Here are my goodies from Friday's Brocton Sale-everything was $1.00 each. The dealer next to me was getting rid of stuff and kept putting stuff out-I missed some other goodies-but I was lucky to get this stuff! She said the red enamelware was the first thing she bought at auction. The shelf will be painted a fun color to go with my other ones. The bowls have chips but will go in my small pie cabinet. The flat pink planter will go on my antique wire planter on my porch.
