Miss Kitty

Well here she is -my very first pet in my whole life(my mom wouldn't let us have pets growing up-but that's a sad story and not her fault!). So a year after my husband and I were married a guy from work needed to get rid of a cat(I don't like saying it that way) because his daughter was pregnant(her cat) and she wouldn't be able to take care of it(don't understand that either!) So I went over and she was the most beautiful angora (I think around 1 year old)cat I had ever seen! We brought her home and she hid for the first day and then developed this attitute-I'm a queen, a diva, don't get in my way... in fact.. she hissed when I even walked by her. She preceded to let all the other animals know who was boss for the next 16 years. She's never really lets me pet her and she's sooo soft(although her hairs getting worse this last year). She's taken to sitting on my lap at the computer(she there right now!) in her last year. I fear the end is near and it scares me... I love her soooooooooo much. There will never be another Miss Kitty. She has the most bitchy attitude that I love. And when she walks her tail goes up like one of those really fluffy feathers and just glides around and I will tell her that she looks like she has white go-go boots on(her fur is shorter on the bottom half of her legs!). I've taken to spoiling her as much as possible these days-feeding her all wet food and just kissing and petting her as much as possible-until she hisses and want to jump down. God's special gifts to us-love them as much as we can while they're here!

  1. I absolutely love angora cats...I always said if I were to get a cat that would be the one. What a nice story, it was meant to be. She is so pretty and I thank you for sharing her with us.

  2. Oh Miss Kitty is so beautiful and so lucky to have such a loving mommy! I hope she surprises you and lives many more years. My dog Sophie was 15 last August so I can relate to the worry. It's not something i am ready to face. Big hugs to Miss Kitty!

  4. MISS KITTY IS BEAUTIFUL. LITTER BOXES ARE DANGEROUS FOR PREGNANT WOMEN, THAT IS WHY THE GIRL COULDN'T TAKE CARE OF HER. BUT SHE IS LUCKY
TO HAVE A HOME WITH YOU.
