I wanted to thank everyone who commented last week on my camper post-I am still so overwhelmed-thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was unsure of whether to post it because I am such a stickler about not being copied. I've been like that since I was a child to a fault -never wearing clothes again if people copied me. I've always liked to do things that are different and would probably go completely overboard except my husband won't let me! I've been trying to return comments but have had so many problems with our internet service I'm considering changing it. Anyway, thank you again for all the wonderful words!!!
Today is my husband's and I's 17 year anniversary of when we met-yes I know it's Friday the 13th. Some days I think it's a lucky number, some days I don't(you know how it goes). Anyway, we did something fun today and when antiquing, shopping, and out for lunch.(For pictures of where we went you can check out my Ella Mae's post). I saw this stove and just had to have it(or thought I did!). It came with a cord-how scary-even back then to cook something in there. The label reads Little Lady. I'll have to do some research on her and see what else came in pink!
So here they all are -do you really think I needed another one? I passed one up when I was antiquing with my mom last year(and I've regretted it ever since!) and I think the one I got today looked like it. I was going to do something really fun with all of them and my three dogs-but it's just too hot. Two refrigerators, stove, sink, washing machine and dryer and a cabinet -am I missing anything else?
Happy Anniversary, Rebecca ... & blessings for many more.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful summer weekend!

ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday AND Happy Anniversary (belated)! I almost wet myself when I saw your Pink kitchen as it brought back a flood of memories! I don't know how big your set is but my sisters and I had a "child sized" pink kitchen set when we were little and I had forgotten all about it. Oh the fun we had playing house with that kitchen! Thanks for the trip down memory lane and have a great weekend, Nan

Hey Pink Lady! Do you know the children's book "Pinkalicious"? If I ever 'met' someone who deserved that title I think it may be you! Where in heaven do you find all these pink things? They are too much fun.
ReplyDeleteWe built a home in 1987 and I had rose counters and rose carpet and a rose bathtub and it was just the height of fashion and I was in love with it all. I met the neighbor across the street and we became best friends. One day she took me to her mother's house and it hadn't been redone for over 20 years. To my surprise, it had been the height of fashion when she had built it and they had all pink appliances, pink counters, pink barstools! I loved it.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! They are so cool!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling now that I've seen them I will notice them while out and about!
Happy Pink Saturday,
Kathy
