I was in the parlor(of course in a pink dress!)

Caroline-my mother-in-law and the president of our organization The music was beautiful

Jane-our long-time treasurer-I didn't know she had this costume-so I told her she'd be wearing it more often-now that I knew!

Kathie-the organizer of the event-in a beautiful dress she made herself

Stringing Popcorn in the kitchen Reading bedtime stories upstairs(it was soooo cold up there!)

More Candy Ornaments

Remember the lady I told you about that brought me some pink ornaments the other day? Her name is Nancy and I'm convinced she's my Christmas angel. Not only because she keeps bringing me wonderful Christmas stuff(when I can't seem to find much on my own), but because she brings it when I'm feeling down. I don't know how she's doing it, but it sure has made me perk up a little and feel better. As Tete says-there are Christmas angels out there!

Pink sugar coated baskets with candy and a candy guy... Sugar frosted candy picks(some have pink candy!) A little elf with pink shirt and pink/red striped candy cane How fun are these!

Plastic Pink Cupcake Ornaments

Aren't these cute??? I haven't been able to find any vintage ornaments anywhere this year(I'm blaming it on Ann from Sentamental Life-she even said she'd bought them all). So I've resorted to plastic pink ones!!! What are you finding out there?

Pink Ornaments

I was talking with a lady at work(she's a friend of my Mom's) about how I haven't been able to find any vintage pink ornaments this year. She was telling me how her mother has been wanting to get rid of some of her christmas ornaments and that she would go thru them and give some to me. This is what she brought me.... Some pink small balls. Can you see all the different ornaments-cupcakes, little victorian dresses, crochet snowflakes, little lace gloves, and so much more! I was so excited! This is exactly what I used to put on my victorian tree-I may have to get that out next year or put up a small tree this year!

Peach Blossom Pyrex???

I only have one of these. My sister in law used to collect it and I've picked this one up and just found it again. I don't think I'll be collecting this pattern-but it will go with my pink pyrex!

Candy Christmas Tree

So I feel the obsession coming on-the race to find candy items to decorate a tree that I won't even put up. Of course it won't be easy-the items have to be pink candy-but I like a challenge. I came across this picture on pinterest(which I am obssessed about!). With a little shabby pink tweeking-I think I'd be in love. Pretty fun since I've already bought those large lolipops and will probably go back for some more of those pink candies I picked up the other day!

Pink Cupcake and Candy Ornament

Pink Crystal Flower Ring

I went to dinner last nite with a good friend I used to work with. We don't get together very often but we always have a good time visiting. She used to leave me little notes and gifts on my desk at work and now we exchange gifts when we see each other. Last nite she brought me this beautiful ring-and I love it! It looks how it looks antique in the middle but still has the pretty prisms as the petals.
I can't wait to wear it!
