Cupcake Ornaments

What to do with my pink cupcake ornaments after Christmas? Put them in my glass cake dish in my office!

Pink Vintage Treasure from Paulette

Paulette from http://cheerfulthriftydoor.blogspot.com/ sent me the most wonderful gift-6 vintage glasses and a revolving trivet tray-pink and fabulous. I still cannot believe the generosity and thoughtfulness from her-she visited my blog and saw that I LOVE pink items and had these and offered to send them to me. She wrapped each glass carefully in bubble wrap and a vintage napkin. She also sent me a wonderful Christmas card with a picture of her and her grandchildren. I wish I could meet her and hug her in person! I can't wait to display them! Thank you soooooo very much Paulette and I will be getting something to you soon!

Pink Dog Crate

See the other present my sis bought for me!!! I was so excited since I had looked at these on Amazon several times. She bought this off the facebook garage sale site-pretty neat! Maggie Mae will love it! So do I!

Craftsman Tool Tote

See what one of my items my little sis bought me for Christmas-Love, Love, Love it. Now I'm going to be looking for some pink tools to fill it. I bought a tool kit this past fall so I need to find out what I still need. And what projects I can tackle.....is that scary!

Pink Camo Dog Sweater

My co-manager bought me this pink camo sweater for Maggie Mae(she needs to loose a few pounds) and pink sharpie markers. Isn't she cute-can't wait to go camping!

Does he know me or what!!!

Merry Pink Christmas to You!!!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas Day!!! I'm trying to concentrate on the reason for the season-the Birth of Jesus Christ! After a long, hard night of not enough sleep and awful thoughts(that I won't go into)-the only thing that really helps is knowing that Christ is always there. Merry Christmas to you all!

Pink Christmas Cookies

Someone went and brought Pink Christmas cookies yesterday and I couldn't resist grabbing a few-I did manage to leave a few pink ones for other people(but I didn't want to!!!!) Yummy!

Pink Santa Nutcracker

I've never been into nutcrackers but when I saw this one on-line-I had to have it. I love the pink santa .. and the wheels look just like candy...notice the pink candy cane

and the Santa license plate

Maybe my Santa comes on a motorcycle instead of a sleigh!

Vintage Child's Washing Machine

Here's the other washing machine I got last week on my birthday. I thought it was funny how I would find two-even though this one is extremely small. It was too cute to pass up for the price! I'm joining Pink Saturday at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Pink Pyrex-YEAH

I've seen so many pics on ebay, pinterest, and blogs with this pink pyrex that I couldn't seem to find anywhere! I found two pieces last Wednesday on my birthday antique trip and one yesterday! I think I've got a new collection-and they're all different pieces!

Cupcake Apron

Look what my girlfriend from Idaho sent me-it's even in a pink mailer envelope! She made this adorable pink cupcake apron(I have done a little baking-which is huge for me!)

It will go great with my cupcake oven mitt and kitchen towels!

Thanks Rachel!!!!

An Early Present

I came home yesterday beat down by mostly mad customers to find that my sister-in-law had sent home an early Christmas gift. What could be inside? Pink Large Vintage Christmas balls!!!! Does she know me or what? How fun and wonderful is that-in their original box!!!

Thanks Nancy!!!

Pink Sugar Cookies

This was what was waiting for me when I got home from work at 12:30 am last nite. My oldest niece and my mother had made these especially for a late night snack for me. ( I stayed at my mother's house since I didn't get off till midnite and had to be back at work at 7:30 the next day and live 30 minutes from work). What a sweet gesture since my days haven't been the most pleasant-people can be very rude and mean during the holidays-working retail is certainly challenging. Anyway, these really perked me up!

Pink Ringer Washer

Well here she is...my pink Birthday gift! My husband was like OH No you want that?! I said YES-I have to have it!!!! Where are you going to put it and what are you going to do with it he said? I don't know -but I love it! I'm joining Pink Saturday at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Pink Striped Child's Socks

Here's the first thing I found yesterday and it has a clue to the big item I bought. I found these laying on it! Can't wait to show you!

Pink Metal Ice Cube Trays

I had a great day antiquing today for my birthday. My husband drove 277 miles to take me to several new places. I didn't find any pink Christmas and I was a little disappointed about that, but will be posting some of my finds for the next few days. One item is so large we have to go back to get it-and it's pink-but you'll never guess what it is. I've never seen one like it and was so excited when I saw it. Anyway, I did pick these pink(I know they don't look pink, but they are!) metal frigidaire ice cube trays. They were only $1.00 each so I had to get them!

Pink Birthday Cupcakes

A good friend from work surprised me right before I left work and brought me these beautiful and yummy cupcakes. Pink of course with pink sprinkles and swirly roses and even an antique calling card in the middle! I LOVED it! Here she is -you've probably seen her before on this blog-Bre-multi-talented girl!

Thanks so much!

A Christmas house tour!

Last nite I was invited over to my friend from work's house-Here's Janice! From the outside to the inside she had pretties everywhere I looked!

Christmas tree in the parlor-she said these were purple lights-but I see pink!!! Her collection of churches

Tree in the living room-sorry it's a little blurry

One of her 3 fireplaces-love that old clock!

I had a wonderful evening visiting with her and just forgot to take more pictures. Everywhere I looked there was something decorated for the holiday-even the lampshades had bows!

Thanks for inviting me over!

1850's Christmas at the Rutherford House

I was in the parlor(of course in a pink dress!)

Caroline-my mother-in-law and the president of our organization The music was beautiful

Jane-our long-time treasurer-I didn't know she had this costume-so I told her she'd be wearing it more often-now that I knew!

Kathie-the organizer of the event-in a beautiful dress she made herself

Stringing Popcorn in the kitchen Reading bedtime stories upstairs(it was soooo cold up there!)

Playing games with the kids

A wonderful 1850's Christmas Time!
