Time to Play in a Small Pool at the Campground
My littlest niece wanted to fill the pool herself. The first day we didn't add enough hot water and boy was that pool cold! She didn't seem to mind though.
Here she is posing for the camera in her pretty pink tweety bird swimsuit.
Just her size!!!!

A Clever Disguise
I always try and bring some fun, silly stuff for the kids to have fun with when we go camping. I picked these funny glasses and rotten teeth up and the girls had fun with them. They'll be a great addition to the dress up trunk I sometimes take with me for them to play with. Here's my oldest niece-more grown-up than ever-but still willing to have a little fun!

1950's Children's Pink Metal House
Have you ever seen one of these? I hadn't-so after a few weeks of thinking about it-just had to have it-it's a Pink House! It's in pretty good shape and I love all the attention to details. If I was the incredible shrinking woman (great movie if you haven't seen it!)-I'd live here!
Here's one side-love the little balcony area!
One side of the house-notice the bush!
Here's the inside-a little wobbly walls
Downstairs living room-like the fireplace and the curtains
I love this kids room-Circus Themed!!!
Upstairs Bathroom
Pretty upstairs bedroom
Downstairs bathroom-love it cause it's pink!!!

Vintage Dessert Set
I bought this vintage dessert set several years ago. I love the cheerful pattern. Never used them-people just don't seem to use this stuff anymore. It's sad. Maybe I'll bring them out sometime for a party!

Sap Buckets
Another little place I put some Queen Anne's Lace at the family reunion. I just love these buckets together-makes me think of BOZO the clown-anyone remember him. I used to try and play that bucket game at home. I always wanted to be a contestant on that show!

A Day Tubing
Here we are-my friend Amanda and I at Poo Landing. I had my pink heart bikini on(under my Girl Gone Country T-shirt) and pink/black heart water shorts-and boy was I glad for those water shoes~!
The real sign says this not Poo Landing!
The day was beautiful and the water felt great! We weren't in this lake-most of the time we were in less than 3 feet of water. We could have walked the whole way carring our tubes.
Do you see all the canoes with the bus? We had planned to go kayaking, but decided with my lack of coordination and strength-tubing seemed like a better idea. We had to do as much work though because the low water levels and no current. We were out there for 3 hours and it was fun-but I am tired!
We had lunch afterward at the Landing(I was starved!) and we both plan to go back in the fall for horseback riding.

Martini Bar
Well after 2 months of almost killing myself getting ready for the family reunion-I decided August would be a month jam-packed with fun, summertime things to do with my friends. The first thing to do was join two of my work friends and go out to eat and to an upscale(for our area) bar downtown. I was a little scared-mainly because I haven't been to a bar in 18 years-since I met my husband-but my friend Rach-assured me that this place was different. Before we even got inside the Martini Bar I could see pink walls -so I knew I was going to like this place. Can you guess what drink is mine? Of course the pink one-a strawberry shortcake(I only had one-but it was delicious). They put some cookie type crumbs on the outside of mine. Yummy. The one on the left is a brown-eyed girl-it tasted like chocolate milk. And the one on the right was an apple type drink.
This is the first thing we saw when we walked in-these vintage aqua chairs-I knew I liked this place!
Bre on the vintage couch(which I really wanted to take home!) Bre was posing all nite-she looked beautiful !
Funky Tables!

Pink Formica Table
So here's the one table I didn't show you last week. I was so excited to get it. I originally saw it at an antique store in May and couldn't get it out of my mind. It was piled with stuff-so I couldn't even see the pattern. I just knew it was pink! I finally called back and it was still there. So I sent a check and then I had to figure out how to get it since it was about an hour and half away and I don't usually go in that direction. Luckily a friend from work goes there to bank and she picked it up for me. It was in almost perfect condition(except for a small scratch!). It didn't have any chairs with it-so I'll have to be on the lookout for those-I think grey ones would work great! The legs come off easily-so it will be easy to store too!

Vintage Glasses as Centerpieces
One of my favorite collections-vintage drinking glasses. I was trying to come up with some simple centerpieces for our family reunion last Saturday and then I remembered that I had tons of these. Some are individual glasses and others are full sets, but I decided to just use one of each style(and I still didn't use them all!) I paired them with simple Queen Anne's lace.
Yellow Floral Glasses
Daisy Glasses
The red ones-my least favorite.
More Red ones.
I added the aqua ones with my floral aqua chairs.
Some of white ones were gathered on round tables.
The one on the right is a yellow rose(I only have one of those).
The pink ones were lined up on the long farm table.
These are the juice glasses which I used on the kiddie tables.

Pink Bathroom Fish
Who could resist these little open mouthed bathroom fish? I just had to pick them up for $1.00. I'm sure some of you remember them in your bathrooms growing up!

White Shabby Bench
My newest addition to my yard-this little shabby bench I picked up at a garage sale for $15 last week. The legs look old and the top has the perfect worn in look. I added some pink coneflowers and some black eyed susans to added a little welcoming area to our family reunion this past Saturday.

How Many Pink Chairs and Tables Does One Person Need?
When you're hosting a family reunion for 50 people-you need a lot of tables and chairs!
My favorite table is this long one that I lined pink chairs up to-I think it was everyone's favorite too!
A little table for the wee folks!
This one is a little shabby-but I paired it with two ice cream chairs-one pink -one white!
I thought this would be cute for the little ones to eat at!
I decided to add vintage aprons to these chairs at the last minute.
