Just Skip and Go Naked!!!

Last weekend while I was camping we made a drink called skip and go naked. It sounds crazy-but it's delicious. I usually don't drink-I think it's been at least a year-but it was so hot outside and we decided that something different might be good. It was very refreshing(the little that I did drink!)

A mixture of ice, beer and vodka(I used cherry vodka) and pink lemonade concentrate And of course-I put it in a pink glass! Hope you're having a good weekend~!

Vintage Pink Radio

I finally found one~ for only $20(they go much higher online! I know I can buy things off etsy or ebay-but there's something more fun about finally acquiring one by yourself after searching for many years. The radio doesn't work on this one(maybe my Dad can fix it!), but the clock does.

Pink Pearl Beaded Basket

I picked up this little beaded basket yesterday for $.50. I collect these so I was really excited to have another to add to my collection(I'll have to post that sometime soon-wish my friend, Tete was still doing her blog party on collections-I miss it!).

Strawberry Creme Jello Pie

I tried a new dish to take camping this past weekend. It's made with strawberry creme instant Jello Instant Pudding. It was super easy(it needs to be for me!). I put it in a shortbread crust instead of the usual gramcracker crust. My dad had a few strawberries he had brought-so that added the topping. It was Yummy!

Chasing a Pink Ball

This is my friend Amanda's little Boston Terrier-Baby Girl. We were sitting visiting and then all of a sudden, Baby Girl found this pink ball I had bought for my neices and nephew next to the camper. She went crazy with excitement. I've never seen a dog enjoy playing with a ball or have so much energy. She totally wore herself out. We were both worried about her because she was panting so hard and it was so hot outside. I can't believe I got this picture of her not moving.

She really wanted to get that pink ball-but it was slippery.I can't wait until we have another outing with them-maybe at the park!

Eating the Perfectly Pink Pancakes

Well we tried out the pink pancakes with chocolate chips while camping this weekend and they were really good. I wasn't sure if I'd like them, but there weren't many chocolate chips in them to notice. So I had a little one. My neice is a picky eater like I used to be and Friday nite we didn't know what to feed her-so pink pancakes it was-and she ate three. We sent her home with the rest so she could warm them up for breakfast the next morning.

Good thing I've got about 20 boxes more of these for the upcoming camping trips!

Pink Water Balloon Fight

The first time each of the kids got 12 balloons(it took me a while to catch on to how to fill them up with the hydrant at the campground). All pink of course! Ready, Set, Go

It looked so fun

Go gettem Girl~ My Dad thought he would get into the act and show them how it was done-the ground was slippery and he took a fall! The next round(7 balloons each) my Mom had the idea to put them in a box so they couldn't run from each other! It was a lot more fun to watch! We had a great day of walking trails, walking Maggie Mae, riding our bikes-but most of all-the water balloon fight-it felt good because it was soooooo hot!

Eating The Camper Cookies

We all had a good time eating some of the camper cookies-I told everyone to make a funny face -and of course-the twins did( the folks always look funny!)

Pink Camper Cookies

Aren't these the neatest cookies? At least for me they are because they match my little pink camper. A very talented co-worker is a wonderful artist and baker and she made these for me. I sent her a picture and she came up with these. I haven't been able to bring myself to eat one yet-this weekend I'm going camping-so it's going to happen-but I did eat two hitches that fell off-and these cookies are super yummy!~ Notice how she even put the tank and hitches on them. She made about two dozen-so I'm freezing some for other camping trips!

Pink Food For Camping

Well-I'm on the hunt for some new additions to my pink food assortment that I take when I go camping-yes-I'm finally getting to go. Usually I'm out in April or at least May-but this weather has been too rainy this year. So my new finds are pink popcorn(the picture doesnt look like it but it is Cherry Popcorn), pink bubble gum jelly bellies, pink round balls(can't remember what they are but they're a mix between malt ball and m&m's), and two pink gumballs(they only had two so I got a blue one for my nephew!). So along with all my other sweets-I'll be ready to have a good time and hopefully have some friends stop in also!

Bunny Returns

Isn't it strange how something is gone in a booth and then shows back up one day. That's what happened with this little bunny. Antique Seven Sister's Rose Bush

This rose is really going crazy. I had bought one a few years ago that died within a year and took it back and luckily-they gave me another-and it's done great! It smells wonderful too(that's why I put it next to the outhouse!). It's called Seven Sisters because of the different colors in the rose.

Pink Thumbtacks -Large and Small

Aren't these neat! I have a pink bulletin board in the sale barn where I put inspirational ideas. These will work out perfectly!

Pink Knives

I've told you that I'm crazy before-but this is really something to cut up about! I went to a garage sale a month back and they had all these pink plastic knives-but only knives. The owner says-you can use them camping-but come on-who really uses plastic knives-especially 4 packages of them. I can see forks or spoons, but not knives. And then I remembered. In the sale barn I've been trying to fill lots of jars with pink items. I have pink crayons, pink toothpicks, pink hair rollers, pink candles, pink pencils, etc-why not pink knives.

And they all fit perfectly!

Pink Cotton Candy

I'm bringing the Pink Cotton Candy to the Party!!!! I've been wanting a cotton candy machine for so long and we had this one at work. All you need is hard candy to make it work. You can mix flavors of candy too-like rootbeer candy with vanilla for rootbeer floats. This pink cotton candy was made with red/white peppermint candy-yummy!

Something's Fishy

What do you suppose this was used for? In a bathroom I'd guess. It has a little lid to put things in. I don't know what I'm going to do with it-guess I'll just stash it away!
