I wanted to show you all three bears so you could see how big he is. He's pink and black and was only $12!!!! I don't run across these vintage bears very often. He had a little note pinned to him and this is what it said...........
My name is Abner and I am over 50 years old and need a nice retirement home(so of course-that's with me!)

Oh...isn't that sweet? I love Abner and whoever pinned that note to little Abner is adorable too!!! I love it!!!! What a great find!!! This just makes me smile!!! :)

ReplyDeleteOh Abner is so stinkin cute. I too love bears. My husband is going to be 65 in September and he still has the Teddy that he got when he was adopted as a baby. It has all the fuzziness worn off of him from love.
The color is quite unusual so I can see why you fell in love with this one. Pink of course.

That is so sweet. I think Abner is darling. We found a stuffed dog at the Park Mall (the dumpster) and couldn't just leave him there. We're just too tender hearted, aren't we.
