Vintage Kenmore Hairdryer
I bought this vintage hairdryer last weekend. I had seen it in a booth for half off and then the booth had disappeared-so when I saw they were back in a new location with the hairdryer again at half off-I had to grab it. It will go great with my vintage razor from last week!

Pink/Gold Planter
I found another pink and gold planter to go with my first one. I think these are great for almost anything-put keys or glasses in or a catch all!

Pink Scales
I will never forget the pink scales that my friend bought over 15 years ago-that I could have grabbed first, but passed up. I saw her today after about 8 years and thought about asking her if she still had it. Since I've not been able to find another one, I picked this one about about a month ago for under $10 and decided to just paint it! Here's the little scale finished. I thought it turned out pretty neat!

The Duchess Shaver
Found this little item last week in that junk shop I've been telling you about for only $1.00. No I'm not going to use it-but it would be fun to have on display. I wish the box was pink!
It's in perfect shape too!
The color is the perfect PINK!

Helping Hand
When I was out junking this past Saturday-I came across this vintage hand. You may know that I collect hands(my first real collection!) and had to have this one-I got it for only $.25. Look at that man's expression! Look at the lady watching the hand on the table
Here are the instructions
It worked just like it said it would too!
When you turn it over-the nails are PINK!!!! I'm joining Vintage Thingie Thursday at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/

Pink Shaped Pancakes
On Saturday, my brother-in-law's sister made the cutest pink shaped pancakes(with my perfectly pink cake mix) -hearts, smiley faces, and stars. Even the men ate them! I teased them that I was going to take a picture of that and post it on the blog with a caption "Real Men Eat Pink Pancakes!" I'm joining Rednesday at http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com/

Tuckered Out
My nephew slept in my camper on Friday nite(partly because his parent's forgot their little heater and I had one in my camper going a full blast!), but it was great to have him sleep over. At nine years old-it won't be long before he won't want to anymore-come to think of it-I don't remember the last time he did. Anyway-Maggie Mae loved sleeping with him!

Enjoying the Sunshine and Chalk painting
I had to get into the action on Saturday and drew this little pink camper and girl dressed in pink with blonde pig-tails(that's how I always dress camping!) and wrote "Becca was here-the Pink Lady." We were parked right across from the bath-house where we made the drawings. Didn't have any black chalk so my camper wasn't quite right! My littlest niece and her cousin-getting busy drawing pictures! Maggie had to check everything out!
How's this for a pose-not too good!

Pink Cake Balls
My sister has been asking me to make these all year. The don't look the prettiest, but they sure taste super yummy. Here's how you make them. Bake a cake...
Of course I had to get the pink strawberry cake mix but you can use any kind you want! You take the cake you made and crumble it up and add in some frosting(I chose the cream cheese kind). Lastly, you melt chocolate(I choose some pink vanilla wafers I had, but you can use any chocolate) and roll the cake ball in it to form a cover around the cake. It's messy, but worth it in the end! Put them on a plate or wax paper until they become solid. The cake will stay moist and it's very yummy!

Cotillion Perfumed Talc
I haven't been out much antiquing or thrifting but yesterday I picked up this vintage pink talc tin for only $1.00. You can't tell it from the picture but it's the prettiest color of pink and I will fit right in to my collection. Have a Happy Pink Saturday! Shoe Savers????
I'm going thru the barn(Ella Mae's Barn) and packing up little items to take in to the antique shop over the winter. I came across these and just loved all the colors mixed together. Any ideas of other ways to use these? I'm joining Vintage Thingie Thursday at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/

Flamingo Stuff
A couple of weeks ago while I was camping, a lady came and knocked at my door. She had seen my pink camper and was throwing away a ton of pink flamingo stuff. She wanted to give it to me for free-and a lot of it was brand new. How nice is that! There was so much stuff(not all pictured) that we will use next year when the kids have a beach themed play.
I'm packing it away for this year-cause soon it will be time to get out the pink themed halloween stuff!

Retro Pink Table and Chairs
I saw this set back on May 28th(when we were in our anniversary outing) and couldn't stop thinking about it. Yes, I know, what am I going to do with it? But when something's calling your name over and over again-you have to listen. I called back about a month later and they still had it. It needs some repairs on the seat(so I've got to figure that one out). But it's all original and a cute little set! I'm joining Pink Saturday at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
