Vintage Dress/slips

I bought this vintage dress at the antique store for $8.00. It fit me perfectly and had the prettiest roses. I decided to put my hair up in back so it looked like a bob. I got a lot of compliments, especially at the nursing home because I think it is an older style.

I also got this beautiful slip for $8.00. The satin is sooooo pretty! I'd like to figure out how I can wear it for a dress.



It still has the original tags!

    The folks at the nursing home liked it, as they are like me, they can relate to it. It looks very nice on you. I doubt many wear "slips", what we called them, now. I still have two. One black and one beige. I like wearing them with certain dresses.

    Slips are made to be worn as undergarments, not as dresses! You would wear a slip UNDER a dress, not AS a dress!
