Pink Tombstones

I saw that Target had some pink tombstones in their ad for $10.00-another pink halloween item, but I live an hour from a Target store- I could have them shipped, but then I remembered that I have several of these styrofoam tombstones already. I don't use them in my yard because they blow away and I've almost gotten rid of them several times. Glad I didn't! I can use them when I go camping for my pink Hallween. Went out and bought some pink florescent paint-still need to do some coloring in for details with black paint or marker, but they'll do nicely~!

Before I'm joining Shabby Chic Cottage for Transformation Thursday at http://www.theshabbychiccottage.net/ and Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ for Pink Saturday!

  9. Those tombstones look much better pink! Maybe you could find a metal rod or a big wood dowel, stick them in the bottom of the styrofoam and put the other end in the ground? Might keep them from blowing away like they have in the past.

  12. you know, you just gave me an idea!! I have an old witch that I put out every year on my front porch, she'll be wearing pink this year along with a pink broom, I'll have to get some spray paint to make it happen.

  16. Ok, you've inspired me (again). I believe I have a couple of halloween plastic skulls lurking in the garage...I do believe they will be pink by weeks end! Perhaps glitter?

  18. Thank you so much for stopping by. We were thinking about adding a stove, but don't have a lot of space with all the windows and doors. I love the idea of a new house, but know it impossible to build a house with all the charm of old ones. I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from having an old house as well. They really don't make them like they used to!

Keep the pink-o-ween coming. LOVE IT!

    Have a great week!

  22. Hey! Thanks for stopping by BenderOak Gifts, I totally appreciate it. These are absolutely adorable, I love the idea. My Boyfriend and I have some of these from last halloween. I'm so tempted to do this, but I'm pretty sure all my stuff will end up on the front lawn along with some Spooky-Hot Pink and Turquoise Headstones once my boyfriend finds out, lol!
