Franken Berry Cereal Treats

Well-I made it-don't know how it will taste-I think I'll let my two nieces and nephew be the Guinea pigs this weekend while camping. Tried to eat a small bowl of this last nite and it was just too sweet. I used to love this as a kid-but I think I've graduated to adult cereals now!

Pink Halloween Party

Since I've been a little down this weekend from not getting to go camping -my niece came and stayed with me overnite. About 2:00 today I had the idea to have her folks(my sister and family) come over and have a wiener roast. So since my camper was already hooked up-I got out the pink halloween decorations. Red Velvet Hand Lotion

Are any of you getting sick of seeing cupcakes everywhere? Not me .... yet. I hope it doesn't go like the rest of the fads have over the years-because this cupcake stuff is super cute. Couldn't resist picking up the lotion and the soap at a garage sale for $ .25 each! And it smell yummy-food -my perfect scent!

I stopped in an antique store last week that I frequent at least once a month. One of the ladies that works there knows I love pink. She told me they might have something that I would want. It was on the bottom shelf and from the top I would probably have never seen it walking by. It looks so white. The side view shows a bottom rim of pink.

And on the inside of the top-more pink. It's plastic so it will be perfect for the camper!

Pink Rose Vintage Wallpaper

I've been looking and looking for vintage wallpaper at antique stores for the last several years(you used to see it once in a while and now not ever!). Last Friday the first thing I found at that garage sale was two rolls of wallpaper(the other one is pictured on the Ella Mae blog). I was looking thru the rolls of Christmas wrap and this was down inside. I just wanted to scream for joy! It will be great on the back of some cabinet. It's very fragile though and the roll is small. I'll keep it stashed until the right thing comes along!

Franken Berry Cereal

qThis was my favorite cereal when I was a child. The grocery stores around here didn't sell it so my Aunt and Uncle would occasionally bring me a box from Chicago when they came down to visit. The stores still don't carry it year round-just at Halloween. I bought a box last year and then couldn't eat it cause it was to sweet(gave it to my niece who loves it also!), but would like to figure out a recipe I could make with it. Any ideas? Vintage Nightgowns

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE vintage nightgowns. Ever since I've was a child and used to make tents on the clothesline(with rugs for the floors) and wear my mom's nightgowns to dress up. I started collecting them a few years back for my nieces to dress up in(I think they may have done that only once!). Friday I found a few at a garage sale-I just love the sweet pastel colors... I may have to just dress up in them myself!

A Gift

My friend Rachel (who hosted the Alice in Wonderland Halloween Party) gave me these wonderful gifts for helping her. I really like the clipboard. I've been wanting to make one out of old wallpaper-and this one looks really vintage!

Getting My Hearts on

Yesterday was one of my best friend's Halloween Birthday Party-and Alice in Wonderland Halloween Bash. I went to the store I work at and had two talented girls help with my make-up, nails and costume. Krista was the make -up artist and Tiffany did my nails(red with black hearts) and helped select the perfect option for my costume. Krista put heart cheeks, heart mole and of course and heart mouth. Apollo Pink Household Tool Kit!

What's a girl to do when she can't even find a hammer and she knows that there is at least 10 of them around somewhere? She buys a pink toolkit of her own-135 piece to be exact!

I was antiquing with a friend today and this is one of the pink items I picked up. I'm not going to use it-but it's vintage and I couldn't pass it up. It's says Kellogg Quality on the handle. Pink Straws

Have I gone crazy???? How many pink straws can one person use? I stopped by a store yesterday and the signs said 50% off these straws-so I decided -these would be fun in the camper for the kids and then the rest I could put in a jar in the bar(with all my other jars of pink stuff!). When I got to the counter and they rung them up-they were only $.25 each-so I bought all 10! Thanks Pink crazy for sure!
