I've had this picture saved for a few years from someone's blog and I've been on the search for this doll. Today I was going thru several of my little dolls(more than 25 in all) and found this little gem. Is this her?
And then I turned her over......can you see it......the pink hair!
She a little faded, but can you believe it... I had her all along?
Here are the first four things I found on Friday antiquing with my friend-for only $1.00 each!!! Yeah-like I need more of these-but I couldn't resist these colors~ I'm joining Blue Monday at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/
Well-here's some of my pink loot from this weekend. Lots of shelving, pink rose chenille with pom pom fringe, aluminum glasses, old glass shade and a free hot pink shelf What a great haul-I'll be posting more on the Ella Maes Blog tomorrow of what I found,
My friend Jami invited me down to relax and visit in her pool. She called me that morning and asked me if I would rather go antiquing or floating-I said can we do both? So we spend the first couple of hours antiquing(I got some great deals that I'll share with you later in the week) and then we came back for pizza and then pina colada's by the pool! Here's my beautiful friend Jami-doesn't she have a great smile! I think I caught her napping a few times since she wasn't answering me when I talked(only kidding!). But she was able to just relax since she didn't have her two girls with her.
I was loving it-catching some rays!
And then -I decided -I wanted to ride the shark.
It was more difficult than I thought!
I was thrown off a few times
But I kept getting back on
Finally -I conquered it!
Jami and her husband just bought this Polaris Ranger a couple of weeks ago and took me for a fun ride. Doesn't she look happy driving!
She took us on some fun off-road trails!
We ended the day by picking up her two beautiful daughters at daycare.
I stopped by Kohls on the way home and picked up a few bargains(70 and 80% off stuff with 2 $10 off coupons) and headed home-only to find out I had a sunburn!
Did you guess it? My clue from the last pink Saturday? I bought this pink mixer a couple of months ago for only $17.00 and it works! I haven't tried it out yet(I don't do much baking or cooking), but it's in perfect condition! I'm joining Pink Saturday at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
I don't know what this is used for-but I can think of a few uses. As the summer is coming to a close I'm thinking of all the work ahead to put up summer wicker and outdoor furniture for fall decorations. Can I just summer for another month? I just love this old chair at the barn with it's rose fabric. Of course I piled it up with other roses(sorry Tete-I know you hate that!), but I couldn't help myself! Hope you're stopping to enjoy the pretty things in life!
I hadn't even begun to unpack at the campsite on Friday and a man stopped and asked if he could take photos of my campsite. I didn't mind but when he began to tell me that he took all the photos for the corvette show and the volkswagon show(vintage cars that is), I knew I wanted to do a little extra than usual. When he saw that I kept bring stuff out -he told me that he would be back in a couple of hours-and that's how long it took to get all this stuff set up. Scary thing is---- I could have done more! And there are some things I didn't show you either. Anyway, here are the pics I took!
Eating Area Dishwashing Area
Maggie Mae's Area Cook Area
I hope to get some his professional pics sent to me sometime soon~
When we got to the campground on Friday we learned that some friends of my sisters and brother in laws were coming camping too. I'm so glad they did-they are the nicest people. Friday they took the kids out in their kayaks. One is hard shelled and the other blow up. I didn't go the first or second day, but by Sunday-I thought I should try it out and I LOVED IT! My oldest niece out with her Daddy! Paula took out my two neices My nephew by himself-only 9 years old! Both the twin were riding on their own in no time at all!
Paula with my neices again!
Mike, who owns the kayaks with his wife Paula, took his 81 year young Mom-LouDene out!
Jim and my niece-she's almost 3 and not afraid at all! Jim and my niece My brother in law Jim went with me-didn't know whether to trust him or not! I'm getting the hang of the paddles!
