Clown Dolls

I've had these clown dolls for as long as I can remember. Way before I was ever into circus items(which has only been this year!) I don't remember why I bought them-but I'm glad I did. I like the long one with all the yo-yo body parts, but the little pink one is my favorite of course. They're just hanging out on my back porch taking a nap on one of my little doll beds my cat's use! Happy Pink Day!

Pink Plastic Wall Cabinet

I'm sure you have all seen one of these at a garage sale or thrift store-I also have one in black, but wanted to do something fun with this one-something to put some of my circus collection in. I picked this one up for just $2.00 at a garage sale-I like how it turned out!

A Tribute to 9/11-Pink Saturday

I have a wall in my dining room with lots of crosses. When I received the email from Beverly this week about it being 9/11-it sure does come around so quickly. I can't believe the years that have passed since that day. I think we all can remember where we were and our thoughts as we watched for days. I am thankful that no one in my family was directly affected, but we were all changed that day. I hope that we never forget those that were involved and who helped for days, months, and even years later. I believe God is always there in every tragedy. And that is why I chose this picture.
Beverly over at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ each Saturday has a Pink Saturday. This Saturday happens to be 9/11. To all the families and their loved ones.

My Pink Truck

Did I have you fooled? I would love to have a pink truck, but my husband uses both our trucks for the farm and they're under the farm account. Not so sure he'd o.k. one of them being pink. I have thought of detailing the Black Ford Ranger with pink striped to match the camper though. I was at an antique store a couple of weeks ago and came across this little fun toy truck for $6. Couldn't pass it up. It will be fun to use at the holidays for a little display-mini pumkins, little Christmas trees, maybe with a little dip jar on a dessert table. You get the idea.
I'm linking up with Beverly for lots more pink: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
