Lion Tamer Stool

I bought this stool(unpainted of course) at a garage sale this spring and just figured out what to do with it-it will be another addition to my circus collection! And I only paid $1.00 for it!

Fun Circus Outfits

As you may know, I suddenly started liking circus items this summer and have been using them at my barn sales. I put together the outfit (you didn't think I'd wear it-did you? maybe!) on the left as a kind of mascot. A few weeks ago I was at a garage sale and found this clown outfit with the same colors-what luck-my collection of characters is growing!!!!

Another Pink Stove-I'm a Pink Hoarder!!!

I wanted to thank everyone who commented last week on my camper post-I am still so overwhelmed-thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was unsure of whether to post it because I am such a stickler about not being copied. I've been like that since I was a child to a fault -never wearing clothes again if people copied me. I've always liked to do things that are different and would probably go completely overboard except my husband won't let me! I've been trying to return comments but have had so many problems with our internet service I'm considering changing it. Anyway, thank you again for all the wonderful words!!!
Today is my husband's and I's 17 year anniversary of when we met-yes I know it's Friday the 13th. Some days I think it's a lucky number, some days I don't(you know how it goes). Anyway, we did something fun today and when antiquing, shopping, and out for lunch.(For pictures of where we went you can check out my Ella Mae's post). I saw this stove and just had to have it(or thought I did!). It came with a cord-how scary-even back then to cook something in there. The label reads Little Lady. I'll have to do some research on her and see what else came in pink!

So here they all are -do you really think I needed another one? I passed one up when I was antiquing with my mom last year(and I've regretted it ever since!) and I think the one I got today looked like it. I was going to do something really fun with all of them and my three dogs-but it's just too hot. Two refrigerators, stove, sink, washing machine and dryer and a cabinet -am I missing anything else?

I'm a Pink Cowgirl

I decided to join the barn chicks blog party over at Brayton Homestead Interiors and took these photos yesterday. It was so much fun setting everything up(with the help of my best friend Teresa(tete-beyond the garden gate). My husband brought his 1949 International Harvestor C tractor over and I brought out some items from the house. My sale barn is in the back -Ella Maes Barn Gathering. Of course, I used lots of pink not to mention my pink boots and pink cowboy hat!

My Pink Camo Rain Boots

Here's my pink camo rain boots that I bought a few years ago before patterned rain boots got popular. I keep them in the camper because it has rained everytime we've went camping this year-I really used them on Easter weekend.

Work on the Camper

After our camping trip on the weekend of July 24th-we all decided that a lot needed to be done to my old 1972 camper. The lights didn't work-they kept blowing fuses in the truck so we took it down to our local KOA campground where Ron the mechanic there was able to figure out the problem was in the wiring in the small running lights and fix the problem for good-YEH. I won't have to worry about being pulled over by a policeman for no lights or rear-ended! Then I had one tire that wouldn't hold air(maybe it's all the stuff I have in the camper my parents said). Well, I love and need that pink stuff so my husband went and got me a new tire. Then last Friday we set off for another weekend of camping, only this time to relax(no more contests!). I had told my dad that I had a hole in the front part of the camper. As you know, he's my fix it man. He got all his tools and got it fixed from the outside for now and then added new white stripping to the front(it looks so much nicer). Thanks guys for all the help you give me-I really appreciate it- and so does my little pink camper!

My Old Fashioned Pink Bike

I came across this in a fellow antiquer's garage about a month ago and had to have it. She sold it to me for $75 -it still had the original price tag of $169.99(Target, I think) and looked to be almost brand new. I had wanted one of these when I bought my other bike but decided I needed something a little heavier for trails and gravel roads when I went camping. So when the opportunity came-I grabbed it up! I take both bikes camping and my mom gets to ride this one-doesn't she look cute on it-you should see her ride it!

I told her she could ride my other bike-but I think she likes this one too much!! I told her that I was going to buy her an outfit to wear when she's riding it -pink petal pushers for a start!
